The Fazakerley family is based in Malawi
Currently the Fazakerley family are in the UK for the special extension to our regular home assignment. Helen is on study leave, doing a counselling course at a local college, while Megumi is using this time to revise his old lecture notes (in Chichewa) for eventual publication as a study aid for the students in Malawi.
Ann Bothamley
Ann is doing pastoral work in the haematology department of the Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, India, and at the Ida Scudder School in Vellore where she is available to listen to young people and their families talking about their problems.
She retired in November 2008 but both the school and the hospital asked her to return and she was successful in getting a visa to enable her to do this in a voluntary capacity. Ann has been with BMS in India for over 40 years.
Ann enjoys classical music and playing the flute. She reads (mainly non-fiction) and walking and being in the countryside are among her other interests.
Her home church is in Beckenham, Kent.
